Been digging on the new Franti record “All Rebel Rockers,” released in September of this year. The new album contains Franti’s trademark fiery protest music and thought-provoking lyrics, but the production is tighter and thicker than previous releases. Recorded in Kingston, Jamaica, with reggae’s most prolific production teams, Sly & Robbie (No Doubt, Alicia Keys, [...] Bon Iver (pronounced “bohn eevair”) is the name of indie folk singer-songwriter Justin Vernon’s current band and most notable music project to date. The band now consists of Mike Noyce and Sean Carey. The name, Bon Iver, is an Anglicization of the French “bon hiver” (good winter).
